DJ MackinTime
My current major creative project. I started DJing in December of 2024 as a new hobby to save a little money for my upcoming wedding. I had a little experience with EDM music production and always enjoyed listening to mixes. I've come a long way in a short time but am still a beginner by many measures. MackinTime was a nickname I had when I was a teenager that had a bit of play-on words with my first name that stuck and it fits pretty well for the DJ persona. DJing is a great creative outlet and I hope to be able to play more live shows in the future. Check me out on YouTube if you feel so inclined. MaconFPV
Another project of mine that I started a few years ago was learning how to fly FPV drones. I bought a DJI FPV drone and began my journey in 2022. Flying drones has been a fun experience and I recently purchased a DJI Neo for my wife to continue the hobby. Not only did I learn how to pilot drones, but it also taught me a lot about video editing and helped me expand on skills in Davinci Resolve. Making the music for some of the YouTube videos also provided me an avenue to combine some of my favorite hobbies into one. Other Projects
I've been playing guitar for about 17 years and bass for 14 years. I learned how to play the bass in jazz band at my high school and started playing it professionally at my current job for musicals and choir events. I was in an alternative rock band for two years when I first moved up to the DMV as well. The only thing that I would like for you to look at if you get the chance is a friend of mine's music that I helped with on a couple songs. His artist name is W Λ R D and I wrote and played the guitar and bass parts for two of his songs; Wrong and Otherside. I'll link them below.
